This cable was the missing link between my laptop and projector for presentations in church assembly.
When I got the cable I was afraid that for 25ft this cable would not work (like my earlier cable), but I decided to go for it because of the good reviews. The cable serves its purpose and I use it to connect my laptop to my 37" Samsung LCD. There is no visible loss in quality though I found that HDMI cables give better resolution.However if your laptop does not have an HDMI output this is a very good option. It works well if you want to connect the TV to a source far away. Try going for a shorter cable, if your requirements allow you to as the signal integrity would be better.
I purchased 4 of these 25-foot SVGA monitor cables for a dentist's office, and they've worked flawlessly, with no visible drop of signal. The images on screen are rock steady without a trace of flickering, rolling, or pixillation. Highly recommended.
The VGA cable worked just fine. However, don't forget to order an audio cable as well so you will have sound through the PC. I ordered one later and it was actually much less money than the VGA cable with audio attached.
Jacket material apears to be of substance. Feels like a decent cable. Not as stiff as some. Connected my laptop to my 50" plasma, video quality was good. What more do you want.
